Data Analysis ToolPak for Sheets runs statistical tools (descriptive statistics, t-tests, Anova, regression and others) on data you select in a Google Sheets spreadsheet and writes the results back into that spreadsheet.
The add-on reads only the cells you choose as its input range, and only in the spreadsheet where you run it (Google permission: View and manage spreadsheets that this application has been installed in). It writes results to a new sheet or to the output range you choose.
Nowhere. All calculations run inside Google's Apps Script environment attached to your spreadsheet. The add-on makes no network requests, sends nothing to any server operated by us or by anyone else, and keeps no copy of your data.
If you activate a Pro license, the license key is stored in your Google account's add-on user properties so you do not have to enter it again. The free-trial start date is stored the same way. Nothing else is stored, and nothing is shared.
Pro licenses are sold through Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive your email address and the purchase record so we can send your license key and support you.
The add-on's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
